PagePilot Viewer manual

If rehearsal has stopped, choose the symptom below. If this is your first session, open one song and check that you can read and turn it. You do not need to read the whole manual first.

What is going wrong?

What you see or hear First action and guide
No sound, or sound from the wrong speaker Open Mixer Settings. Check that the desired source is playing, its mute and volume, then its destination and connection.
Playback stopped after a call or another app In Mixer Settings, use the interruption section to distinguish a solo/parent pause from audio loss on a following Viewer.
Audio plays but pages do not turn Follow the checks in automatic page turns, starting with this song’s timeline and automatic following.
A song, score, or audio file is missing Use Global Search. For a new file that cannot be selected, check the import source.
Only one song looks or behaves differently Check its Item Settings. If every song is affected, check Global Settings.
A deleted score or song is needed again Check Trash before removing anything else. Permanently deleted content cannot be restored from Trash.
A pedal connects but does nothing Check whether it is a keyboard-style page turner or a MIDI controller; their connection routes differ.
Bandmates cannot connect, or the wrong song opens Check Conductor connection and song matching. BLE and local-network problems have different checks.
The venue screen is black or the video lags Check external video output. Black can be an intentional before/after-playback setting.
Android shows a storage recovery screen Use the storage recovery guide. Avoid clearing app data or formatting the card while you need its contents.

Available English pages

  • Android Data Storage Location: Store large score, audio, and annotation files in internal storage or PagePilot's private area on an SD card.
  • Annotation Palette: The palette for the pen, highlighter, stamps, text labels, and eraser you use on a score.
