PDF, MusicXML, and MEI

Bring PDFs, MusicXML, and MEI in through the same Score File option, then open the saved scores from Scores in your library. MusicXML and MEI build fixed pages before saving; they also support transposition and updates from a source file.

For scores made in MuseScore or Dorico, choose PDF to keep the exported appearance or MusicXML to use the musical information.

Preparing for Public Release

PagePilot Viewer is currently available only to beta testers. General availability on the App Store and Google Play is being prepared. We will announce the public release on this site.

The first useful experiment

With Viewer installed, add one PDF or score photo and open it. Check that you can read it at your normal playing distance, then try a page turn. That is enough for the first session.

Without a score file, try a copyable chord-chart example. Change one chord and preview it again. Audio and automatic page turns are optional next steps.

Help when you need it

If something is stopping your rehearsal, start with the symptom. The manual’s problem finder points to missing audio, wrong page turns, lost scores, and connection problems. For a longer task, it also links to guides organized by what you want to achieve.

You can also ask the PagePilot Viewer Support Notebook in English or Japanese—for example, “The score moves, but I cannot hear the click.” It uses the Japanese manual and FAQ as sources; follow its links when checking an operation or a setting’s effects.
