Choose Where to Add From
This sheet first asks where the item you want to add comes from. The first level has three choices: From Files or Photos, From Library, and Create New. Selecting one shows the available items from that source.
As a rule of thumb, use From Files or Photos for material that is not in the app yet, From Library for registered material, and Create New when there is no source material.

From Files or Photos
Choose material that is outside the app.
- File: Choose a PDF, image file, or text-page file from the device or cloud storage.
- Photo Library: Choose score images from the photo library. Availability depends on the device.
- MusicXML File: Register a new MusicXML file, then choose its full score or a part.
Selecting multiple ordinary files opens Bulk Add Review. MusicXML remains a separate item because it requires part selection and preview.
From Library
Reuse something already registered in PagePilot Viewer. Each choice has a different sharing boundary.
- Song: Add a prepared Song as-is. Its score, audio, timeline, and other settings remain shared wherever that Song is used.
- Score: Create a new Song that uses an existing Score and its annotations. The new Song's audio and timeline settings are independent.
- MusicXML: Choose registered MusicXML, then create a new Score and Song from its full score or a part.
For browsing details, see Choose Existing Song Or Score.
Create New
Create an item inside the app without selecting source material.
- Text Page: Create lyrics, chords, or a short running chart. Choose Plain Text, ChordPro, Markdown, or Fumen as the format.
- Memo: Create a short non-song cue for an MC break, tuning, instrument change, or stage transition.
A memo is not a Song, so it has no audio, timeline, or Conductor song number. For details, see Setlist Memos.
