Choose whether to add an item from outside the app, from the library, or by creating it from scratch.

Choose Where to Add From
This sheet first asks where the item you want to add comes from. The first level has three choices: From Files or Photos, From Library, and Create New. Selecting one shows the available items from that source.
As a rule of thumb, use From Files or Photos for material that is not in the app yet, From Library for registered material, and Create New when there is no source material.
From Files or Photos
Choose a file on the device or in the cloud, or an image from the photo library.
- Score File: Choose a PDF, image file, or text-page file from the device or cloud storage.
- Photo Library: Choose score images from the photo library. Whether it appears depends on the device.
- MusicXML File: Register a new MusicXML file, then choose its full score or a part.
Selecting several ordinary files at once opens Bulk Add Review. MusicXML is a separate item because it needs part selection and a preview.
From Library
Reuse a song, score, or MusicXML already registered in PagePilot Viewer. What carries over depends on which one you pick.
- Song: Add a prepared song as it is. Change its page range, audio, or automatic page turns later and every other setlist using that song changes too.
- Score: Build a new song from a score you already have, annotations included. Audio and automatic page turns are set up separately for the new song.
- MusicXML: Choose registered MusicXML, then create a new score and song from its full score or a part.

Create New
Make a new text page or setlist memo without picking a file or a library item.
- Text Page: A page of lyrics, chords, or a short running chart. Choose Plain Text, ChordPro, Markdown, or Fumen as the format.
- Memo: A short non-song cue — an MC, a break, tuning, an instrument change, a stage transition.
A memo is not a song, so it has no audio, automatic page turns, or Conductor song number. For details, see Setlist Memos.
