Fine-tune the score range, audio, timeline, tempo, and display settings for each individual song.

Item Settings

Item Settings is where you prepare one song in a setlist for performance. The same score can need a different page range, audio file, timeline, tempo, or display behavior depending on the song. If you only need to reorder songs or rename an item, Setlist Detail is usually enough; open this screen when one song needs performance-specific behavior.

When to Open This Screen

You want to use only part of a longer score in this setlist.
You want to attach audio to the song, or replace the existing audio.
You want to attach, remove, or review the timeline used for automatic page turns.
You need to adjust duration, BPM, time signature, audio start time, or displayed bar numbers for this song.
You want a spoken count-in before the song or Voice Count on selected bars.
Only this song needs a different display pattern, zoom, tap zones, annotation visibility, or text-page layout.
You use DAW Conductor integration and need to assign the song number for this item.

For ordinary ordering, renaming, or memo work, use Setlist Detail. This screen is for settings that affect what happens while you perform the song.

Settings Managed on This Screen

The "song" configured here is more than the score file. For a song in a setlist, this screen manages these settings together:

Which score to use, and which start and end pages belong to this song.
Which audio file to use, and when it should start.
Which timeline to use, and which cue moves to which page at which time.
How BPM, time signature, duration, and bar-number correction should be handled.
The per-song display override, tags, notes, and Conductor song number.

When sharing, "Include settings for this song in the setlist" sends these settings too. Thinking separately about "the score file" and "the way this song is performed" makes the sharing choices much easier.

Recommended Workflow

Check the score and set the page range.
Attach audio if needed, then align its start time and duration.
Before configuring automatic page turns, decide what they should follow. To follow recorded audio, use its actual playback time. To follow the metronome or the score's bars and beats, set BPM and time signature first, then turn on the metronome.
Choose the automatic page-turn setup (called a timeline in the app), then review its cues using the basis you selected.
Adjust the displayed bar-number correction if needed. Use helper actions when BPM can be read from a text page or detected from audio.
For songs that use Voice Count, set the count-in or target bars and voice.
Turn on per-song display settings only when this song needs an exception.
If you use DAW Conductor, check the Conductor song number last.

How to Read the Screen

Top Card

Shows the selected song's name, position in the setlist, page range, display state, and playback summary. It is also the starting point when you want to move to the previous or next song while adjusting several items. If the same shared song is used by multiple setlist items, edits may affect those other items too. Duplicate the song first when you want only this item to diverge.

Files

Review and change the combination of score, audio, and timeline. Use this section to replace the score, attach audio, create or import a timeline, or assign a different timeline.

Removing audio or removing a timeline here only unlinks it from this setlist item. It does not permanently delete the audio or timeline asset from the library.

Playback

Adjust duration, BPM, time signature, audio start time, and bar-number correction. Use Audio Start Time when audio playback and the visible score need to line up. Use Bar Number Correction when the bar numbers shown in the timeline should match the score's printed numbering. It does not move the audio.

Helper actions, such as reading BPM from a text page or detecting BPM from audio, are grouped here. If you are not using automatic page turns or a metronome for this song, you usually do not need to fine-tune BPM and time signature.

Voice Count

Voice Count speaks beats such as "one, two" using settings saved for this song. For a count-in before the song, choose a one-bar, two-bar, or standard two-bar preset. For cues inside the song, open the detailed settings and choose the bars and voice for Count Every Beat, Half-Time First Half, and Half-Time Second Half.

Voice Count is part of the metronome, so the metronome must be on during playback. Check BPM and time signature first. When Voice Count is enabled for a song for the first time, it uses the defaults from Metronome Settings; later edits belong to this song.

Score

Set the start and end pages used within the setlist. This is useful when you only want to use part of a longer score. Changing the page range also changes which annotation pages and timeline pages make sense for this song, so open the viewer once before using it live.

For a text page, this section also lets you review or change the text-page format and open text editing. Change the body text from Text Page Editor here, not from display settings.

Display Settings

Use this when this song should look different from the global settings. Normally you can leave it off. Turning it on creates a per-song display override. Unset fields continue to inherit global settings; only the fields you change become song-specific.

Good uses include:

Always show or hide the timeline for this song only.
Fix the initial zoom for this song.
Disable tap zones for this song to avoid accidental taps.
Change font size or margins for this song's ChordPro or text page.
Make this song's text page scroll instead of using page turns.
Use a different display pattern only in landscape for this song.

Display changes applied to the current song from the score viewer's Display Menu can also be reviewed here as per-song settings. Turning the override off returns this song to the global settings.

Timeline and Conductor

The timeline area lists the cues used by this song. For songs with automatic page turns, anchors, page changes, and tempo or meter reference points appear here. Open a cue when you need to adjust its time or target page precisely.

The Conductor area assigns the song number used when an external DAW or another device calls this song. Leave it blank if you do not use Conductor. Songs with a blank field use a number derived from their position in the setlist. Make every effective song number unique, including collisions between an explicit number and a blank song's position-derived number.

If numbers overlap, a Conductor change can select the first song with that number and open the wrong score, timeline, or audio. Stop the connection, assign non-overlapping numbers, then reconnect or resynchronize Conductor.

Pre-Show Check

Is the page range exactly the range you will perform?
For songs with audio, do the audio start time and duration line up?
For songs with a timeline, do the first cue and the important page turns land correctly?
For songs with Voice Count, is the metronome on and do the count-in and target bars match the song?
For songs with per-song display settings, does the viewer look the way you expect?
If you use Conductor, are all effective song numbers unique, including position-derived numbers for blank fields?

If You Get Stuck

If a setting change isn't showing up in the score viewer, go back to Setlist Detail and reopen the song.
If you can't find the BPM or time signature, enter the chords or time signature on a text page and then use "From Score" to import them.
If the display does not look right, check whether per-song display settings are turned on. When they are on, this song may intentionally differ from the global settings.
If audio or a timeline still exists after you remove it from the item, that is normal. This screen only unlinks the asset; manage permanent deletion from Scores & Audio Library or Trash.
