Add short non-song cues, such as MC notes, breaks, instrument changes, or stage transitions, directly into the setlist order.

Setlist Memos

Setlist Memos

A setlist memo is a short label for something in the running order that is not a song. Use it for MC notes, breaks, instrument changes, tuning, stage transitions, or anything else that has no score but should stay in the setlist flow.

A memo is not a song. It does not have a score, audio, tags, duration, or Conductor song number.

Where memos appear in Setlist Detail

When to Use One

This is not meant for long scripts or detailed notes. Keep labels short enough to read at a glance, especially if you want them to be useful as next memo cues in the score viewer.

Adding a Memo

In Choose Where to Add From, choose Create New, then Memo, to add one at the end of the setlist. After adding it, drag it to the position you want, just like rearranging songs.

Memos can appear before the first song, between songs, or after the final song. You can also place multiple memos in a row.

Editing

Tap the memo label in Setlist Detail to edit its text and color. Colors are chosen from presets; there is no custom color picker.

Colors are useful as simple categories. For example, use white for MC notes, light blue for breaks, and orange for instrument changes so long setlists stay scannable.

Reordering and Removing

Memos can move within the running order, but because they are not songs, they do not change the song-only order or Conductor song numbering. Swipe left or right to remove a memo from the setlist, using the same pattern as song cards.

Removing a memo does not delete any score or audio. Only that memo row is removed from the setlist.

Next Memo Cue in the Score Viewer

When one or more memos come immediately after the current song, a small label may appear near the bottom of the score viewer. It tells you that the next thing in the setlist is a memo before the next song.

In paged displays, it appears when the end of the song is visible. In continuous scrolling displays, it appears while the song is open. If several memos are in a row, multiple labels are shown if they fit.

This cue is not a large popup for reading long memo text. If it gets in the way, tap it to hide that cue temporarily in the current viewer state. This is not a persistent per-song setting, so the cue can appear again after reopening the viewer. The memo row itself is not deleted and remains available in the setlist and search.

Turning Off Next Memo Cues

You can turn off next memo cues in Global Settings. This preference is saved and applies to later score-viewer sessions. That setting only affects the small cue in the score viewer. Memo rows in Setlist Detail, search, reordering, and removal still work.

Memo labels are searchable. When you share a setlist, its memos are included with it.

Because a memo is not a song, it cannot be opened as a score or assigned audio.
