Piano Keyboard
The Piano Keyboard is a simple keyboard panel that overlays the score viewer. Its main advantage is that you can check chords or pitches right there without navigating away from the score.

What You Can Do Here
- Play notes on the keyboard and hear them immediately
- Select a GM voice (128 voices) from the control bar
- Shift the octave up or down to reach different registers
- Change the keyboard width (size)
- Show or hide key labels according to your settings
When to Use It
Great for quickly checking a chord voicing before rehearsal, or confirming how a transposed passage sounds. Because it overlays the score, you can check things instantly without interrupting your practice flow.
If You Get Stuck
- If pressing keys produces no audio, check the output destination. Verify that the correct output is selected in Mixer Settings.
- If your external MIDI keyboard is not producing audio, check the connection in MIDI Device Picker.
