Connect to Conductor

Connect to Conductor

Connect to Conductor is the entry point for pairing Viewer with an external PagePilot Conductor or starting this Viewer as a Local Conductor. For DAW-synced page turns, scan for and connect to the external Conductor. For Viewer-to-Viewer sync, open this sheet from a populated setlist and start Local Conductor.

What You Can Do Here

When to Use This

Use this when you want your score display to stay in sync with DAW playback during a show, or when you want Viewer to follow song changes triggered from Conductor. While the app is in the background, sync pauses temporarily; when you return to the app, it automatically re-syncs to the latest state.

DAW integration requires an external PagePilot Conductor. Local Conductor instead broadcasts one Viewer's setlist song number and position to other Viewers; it does not connect to or control a DAW.

What Conductor Sends

Conductor sends each Viewer only the song number and elapsed position within the song. It does not send score files, the currently displayed page number, cues, or display settings. Before the show, prepare each following Viewer with the score it will use and automatic page-turn settings that match that score.

The Viewers do not need identical scores or identical cues. Each performer can use a different part and its own cues while all Viewers follow the same song position using the song number and elapsed position.
