Edit and preview the content of text pages and ChordPro scores.

Text Page Editor

The Text Page Editor is where you directly edit the content of text-based scores — lyrics sheets, ChordPro charts, and similar formats. You can fix lyrics, add chord notation, reorganize sections and headings, and switch to preview at any time to check how everything looks.

What You Can Do Here

Edit Mode

The editor opens in edit mode by default. Changes are saved automatically, so you can refine your content incrementally without worrying about losing work.

Preview

Switch to preview mode to see a close approximation of how the score will appear during a show. If you want to check how lines wrap or how chords are positioned, it is worth switching to preview rather than relying on the editor view alone.

Insertion Menu

Depending on the current display style, helper buttons appear that let you insert ChordPro directives or Markdown formatting. These save you from typing notation by hand, making the editor more approachable even if you have not memorised every syntax rule yet.

Transpose and Reference

For ChordPro-based styles, you can open the transpose tool and a quick reference sheet. Both are handy when you need to adjust the playing key while polishing a chart, or when you need a quick reminder of the syntax.

Auxiliary Sheets

These sheets are accessible directly from the editor and are dedicated to input assistance and quick reference — they support body-text editing without leaving the screen.

Operations you perform outside this screen — changing settings or checking the final display — are accessible from here.
