First Time? Read One Song

PagePilot Viewer lets you read scores on a tablet and prepare the song order and any backing audio for a performance. It also works on iPhone and Android phones.

  1. Create a setlist named after your rehearsal or show in Setlists.
  2. Add a score file or photo for one song in Setlist Detail.
  3. Open it in the Score Viewer. Check readability from your playing position and try turning a page.

Reading a score does not require audio, automatic page turns, or Conductor setup. Continue with the feature you need next.

If the Names Are Confusing

A Score is the PDF, a score made from MusicXML/MEI, an image, or a text page you read. A Song prepares how you use it: page range, audio, and page-turn setup. A Setlist puts songs and notes such as announcements in performance order.

Reusing a song saves preparation, but editing its audio or tempo affects other setlists that use it. A display override for one occurrence of that song is saved to that place in the setlist. Before changing anything you are unsure about, check Pick an Existing Song or Score and Item Settings.
