A dialog for setting the name and tags of an imported score before it is added to your library.
Score Import Setup
Score Import Setup
This dialog appears right after you import a score, giving you a chance to confirm the name and add tags. It is the entry point for keeping your library organized, and even a quick pass here makes searching and managing scores much easier down the line.
What You Can Do Here
- Edit the imported score's name
- Add tags to make the score easier to find later
- Leave the defaults and move on
Setting the Name
The file name at import time is filled in automatically. Changing it to a clear song title or purpose before your show means you will spend less time hunting for it when adding items to a setlist or using global search.
Adding Tags
Adding tags such as genre, instrumentation, event name, or "rehearsal" here makes bulk organization much smoother later. Existing tag suggestions appear as you type, which helps keep spelling consistent across your library.
If You Get Stuck
- To change the name or tags after import, open Scores & Audio Library, select the score, and edit from there.
Related Screens
- To review all your imported material, open Scores & Audio Library.
- To add the same tag to multiple items at once, see Bulk Tag Editing.
