Adjust a cue against the backing waveform and ruler, then loop the surrounding passage to check the page turn.

Fine Adjust a Cue's Position

If dragging a cue on the Timeline is too coarse, open Fine adjust position. The backing waveform appears when audio is assigned. You do not need to read the right answer from the waveform alone. Loop the passage and listen for the point where the next page appears in time to read it.

Open the Editor

Long-press the cue in the Score Viewer's Timeline. You can also open … in the cue controls and tap the zoom icon beside that cue. If several cues overlap, find the right one by its time and role in Cue List, then tap the zoom icon in its details. The opening cue is fixed at time zero and cannot be moved.

Adjust While Listening

  1. Tap Loop the surrounding 4 s. Playback returns to the beginning of the range automatically. The score behind the panel follows playback, so you can see when the page turns.
  2. Drag left or right on the waveform to move the cue's time. Use Zoom to 0.5 s to see a smaller region, or hold −1 ms or +1 ms for fine steps.
  3. Listen and check that the next passage appears before you need to read it. Tap Save when it is right. Cancel restores the previous position.

With the metronome on, bar and beat lines appear over the waveform. With it off, use the time ruler. This editor does not snap to beats, even when Snap to Beat is enabled. It saves the exact time you choose, including a point just before or after a beat.

Without backing audio, use the time ruler to set the cue. If audio is assigned but its waveform cannot be displayed, you can still play and listen while adjusting. Tap Retry if shown. To change the destination page or scroll position, use Cue Details.

Cues are saved at a fixed time, including cues placed on a beat. Changing BPM or meter later does not move them automatically. Play through important turns again after changing the tempo.
